Jenkins enjoys trip to Nebraska

Nebraska is looking for some taller cornerbacks and Moses Jenkins fits the bill. The 6-foot-1 and 175 pound cornerback from Lauderdale Lakes (Flor.) Boyd H. Anderson was in Lincoln this weekend with Patrick Grant. Nebraska nearly came away with the win over Texas and also made quite the impression on Jenkins.

Nebraska hosted a pair from Lauderdale Lakes (Flor.) Boyd H. Anderson this past weekend. Moses Jenkins and Patrick Grant were in town to see Nebraska take on Texas. Jenkins had great things to say about the visit.

"Everything really went well," Jenkins said. "It was just perfect for me. Nebraska is a good football team. They got close to that win."

Grant pulled the trigger on a commitment to Nebraska this weekend. Did Jenkins?

"No. I have to check out some other schools. I just don't want to make a quick decision and have it be wrong for me."

This wasn't Jenkins' first official visit. Jenkins has taken a trip to see a Big 10 team already.

"I have been to Iowa. Both schools have things in common. I just felt something else at Nebraska. That is why they have the edge."

That edge isn't something that Jenkins can put a finger on. Jenkins also didn't fell comfortable assigning a grade to the weekend on a scale of 1-10.

"Overall, it was a good visit. I really can't assign it a grade. The visit went really, really well."
