Joiner takes unofficial to Texas A&M

It was a big game weekend in College Station as Nebraska visited A&M. One visitor that was in attendance happens to have the Aggies and the Huskers in the lead for his services. While it wasn't an official, he was able to get a good idea about College Station on game day. How did the visit go and what is left?

Brandon Joiner was supposed to take an official to Texas A&M this past weekend. The 6-foot-3 and 220 pound Joiner from Killeen (Texas) Shoemaker wasn't there officially, but he was still able to attend the game and re-scheduled the official date.

"I didn't take an official," Joiner said. "I was supposed to make my official this weekend, but we couldn't get in on time. We re-scheduled that. It will either be December 1 or 8."

"I did take an unofficial down there for the Nebraska game. It was a good game. The stadium was crazy."

On unofficial visits, the circumstances are a little different and you typically don't get to see everything that you might want to see. So it goes with Joiner that will have to wait for his official to see some key things at A&M.

"I got a chance to see the jumbo-tron, but I didn't get to see the new facilities. I didn't see the indoor stuff. I have been to Bryan-College Station, but I have only been to A&M and straight back. I haven't seen the town."

Joiner has already seen Nebraska, but said that he would like to take two more trips. The two other schools that he wants to see have had their dates pushed off into December.

"I just want to see A&M and Oklahoma State. I don't have the visit set to Oklahoma State. They are saying some time in December too. Everyone wants me to come up before their bowl week."

After officially visiting Lincoln, Joiner left there and needed to talk to his family about his trip. Apparently after some time being back in Texas one key thing has started to stand out to him about his trip to Nebraska.

"I like Nebraska. I like them and stuff, but it's cold there. That is something that I am thinking quite a bit about right now. That is something that I will have to consider when it comes to my decision."

As of right now, it looks like it's between two for Joiner's services. "I am just thinking a lot about Texas A&M and Nebraska. I am thinking about those two pretty hard right now."
