Will he re-schedule with Nebraska?

Nebraska is looking for immediate help at cornerback and have offered some of the nation's best junior college cornerbacks. Such is the case with Deangelo Willingham. The 6-foot-1 and 210-pound cornerback could offer immediate help to a secondary in need. Can Nebraska get a visit?

Deangelo Willingham is one of the best junior college cornerbacks in the nation. The 6-foot-1 and 210-pound cornerback from Palm Desert (Calif.) College of the Desert was a great player this year on a pretty back team.

"No, we didn't go to a bowl game," Willingham said. "We went 1-9. I played pretty good though."

"I think that I had five interceptions, blocked a field goal, forced a fumble and had a fumble recovery."

When the season ended, the official visits were set to begin, but one got bumped back. He isn't sure if that visit will be re-scheduled or not.

"I was supposed to have an official visit to Nebraska one weekend, but they are trying to reschedule it. It was supposed to be over Thanksgiving."

"They are trying to re-schedule that visit with me. I am not sure if I will re-schedule that visit or not."

Tennessee and Syracuse are two schools that have recently picked up interest with Willingham. Those two schools have him thinking about more than just school.

"I am originally from South Carolina and there is some incentive to try and get closer to home."

Willingham said that he was just one class short of being able to graduate in the fall. Instead, he will have to return to junior college for just one class.

"No, I can't transfer in January. I needed to take one more class. That one class just held me back."
