"They said that they really enjoyed it," Yancy said. "They liked the campus a lot and they really liked the coaches. It was the coaches and the whole environment up there."
"Of course Eric Hagg has already committed. He has been in my ear about Nebraska every day. I have spoke to them all about Nebraska."
The one benefit that the trio might have gotten that Yancy won't will be experiencing a game in Lincoln. It still works out for Yancy in satisfying one curiosity.
"That's my problem. I know that the game brings a whole new aspect to everyone. In a way I want to see what happens when there isn't a game there."
"I wanted to come in when something was going on. It was a good thing for me that the banquet was this weekend. I'd say that everything turned out really well."
To date, Yancy has taken two official visits. Both trips actually went really well, but one of them has had another dynamic change that has taken away from the experience a bit.
"The Arizona State visit would probably be an "8". It was nice to see how close the team is. They lost that game, and they were so close, but they were all back in the next day ready to work. Not knowing the coaches there anymore shakes it up for me."
The other in-state school is in pursuit of Yancy still and might get an official. The only other school beyond Nebraska that will get an official is coincidentally another Big 12 school.
"Arizona is recruiting me. I had an in-home with Coach Mike Stoops this week. The only official visit beyond Nebraska will be to Oklahoma next weekend."
