Yancy says Nebraska was a "9.9"!

Nebraska had a great weekend to bring players in. The weather was great, bowl game practices are in full swing and on Friday night there was the players' banquet. William Yancy said that the weekend went great and gave it a very high rating. He has one official visit left and then he could come to a decision.

William Yancy, from Glendale (Ariz.) Ironwood, caught up with Big Red Report as he was leaving Lincoln.

"We are leaving right now," Yancy said. "We are on our way to the airport right now."

The weekend gave the recruits a chance to really meet the players on the banquet weekend. Yancy said that was a great experience, especially seeing the award presentations.

"Everything is going good, the visit went great. I met everybody. I got a chance to meet all of the players, the coaches and see the facilities."

"The banquet was great. I got to see all of the awards. I saw Zac Taylor and Adam Carriker and all those guys win awards. That was cool."

Besides the banquet, there was an opportunity to check out a Nebraska practice. Yancy said that was an intense practice.

"We saw a practice yesterday. That was pretty intense. We got to see the seniors go one on one. That was pretty cool."

Yancy had already taken a couple of visits already before going to Nebraska. Nebraska compare very favorably to the other two visits and could have gotten a perfect score had Nebraska been his last visit.

"I have taken visits to Purdue and Arizona State already. I would rate this visit a "9.9". I am not going to say a "10" because I haven't taken all my visits yet."

"It was at least a "9.9". It's way up there. I have Oklahoma next weekend and that could be it. The visit was pretty high."

Nebraska commits, Adi Kunalic and Niles Paul, were both in this weekend for their official visits. Yancy said that no one else committed this weekend.

"No one committed that I know of. There were a couple of commits with us, but no one from the weekend committed on the trip."
