Amie is ready to go this weekend

It's been a long time coming for Jacob Amie. It seemed like every time that Amie had a trip set up that something happened. Now, the season is over and he is ready to make some trips. The first team to get an official from Amie will be the Cornhuskers. Nebraska has turned up the heat recently for Amie.

After setting the visit multiple times to Nebraska, Jacob Amie will finally get to take his trip to Lincoln this weekend. The 6-foot-4.5 and 225-pound athlete says that he is leaving Friday.

"I got the trip set for this Friday," Amie said. "I am going to Nebraska this Friday. I am excited, but I am going by myself."

The Nebraska trip is something that Amie has set up, canceled, set up again and only have to cancel until this go-round. Nebraska has also turned up the heat with two, recent in-home visits.

"I've had the official set up for a couple of weeks now. Coach Randy Jordan and Coach Shawn Watson have been in-home with me already."

Amie was very excited about taking the trip to Nebraska this weekend because of the recent showing of interest from Nebraska. "I know that those coaches really like me. They want me."
