"It was O.K.," Dever said. "We went 7-4 and lost the first round to the team that actually just won the sectionals."
"We were a really young team this year. We were depending on some of these guys to get used to how varsity was, but it really didn't turn out like we wanted it to."
It wasn't long ago when there was some guesses as to what might be wrong with not having any offers. Now Dever is holding over 10 offers.
"I am up to 14 offers right now. UCLA just called and they want me to fax them my transcripts and test scores. It's still pretty nuts."
"It was pretty amazing. I have always been a fan, I guess. To get out there and see everything in person was pretty big."
"They just got a brand new athletic facility. I really liked the guys there. I got meet up with some of the offensive lineman, that are all freshman this year, and that was big considering that would be who I would be playing with."
"I go to Nebraska this weekend. There are so many things that I am taking into consideration. I kind of know what to expect, I guess."
After seeing his childhood favorite, Notre Dame, it may be tough to compare schools. However Dever is trying to keep an even keel.
"I want to go out there open-minded. This is a place where I could potentially go. My dad is going with me to Nebraska."
Besides Notre Dame and Nebraska, Dever doesn't have any other official visits set. He is talking about taking all of his visits though.
