Yancy makes his decision public!

The Huskers have been pulling quite a few rabbits from the hat lately and got another one this morning. Nebraska is looking to re-load on the defensive line after losing all four starters to graduation. The Huskers seemed well on their way after receiving commitments from Terrance Moore and Joseph Townsend this weekend. However, they got another boost today from a defensive end.

William Yancy was supposed to have a little bit of a press conference today to announce. However, there were some problems technically and it was important to get the word out to the people.

"There were some problems with the announcement today," Yancy said. "It kind of fell through, so we just started telling family and friends what the decision was."

The message that Yancy wanted to deliver is right here: "We want to let everyone hear it. It's Nebraska. I am going to Nebraska."

Yancey has known for a few days now, but says wanted to release the information today.

"I've known, officially, since today. But, really I knew sometime over the weekend. It was really the right place for me."

Big Red Report will catch up with William Yancy again in the coming days to talk with him about his commitment.
