Breaux rates Nebraska trip a "9"

A player like Lionel Breaux adds instant speed to your team. Breaux is one the top track guys in the state of Louisiana and is also a commitment to Ole Miss. Nebraska got a chance though to bring in Breaux and show him Lincoln, on one of the coldest days of the new year that brought snow. How did the visit go for Breaux and how did it compare to Ole Miss?

Lionel Breaux, a 5-foot-11.5 and 185-pound athlete, from New Orleans (La.) McDonogh 35 Senior HS was in Lincoln this weekend. This was Breaux's second official visit.

"It was good," Breaux said. "I really liked the players and the academics part of the trip."

The weather was typically in the 60s and 70s in New Orleans while in Lincoln it was maybe in the teens with snow flurries.

"It was alright. I didn't mind the snow or the cold."

Breaux spent most of his time with a couple of players, but was always with the other official visitors Jason Peters and Shawn Sullivan.

"I hung out with Menelik Holt and another guy from California."

Breaux really couldn't say enough about the trip. He recognizes that there is a chance for big things for him there.

"I really liked the visit to Nebraska. It's a great opportunity here."

After the Nebraska visit, Breaux has two other official visits set up. Both visits will go to other SEC teams.

"I am going to take a visit to Arkansas next week and LSU the week after."

Breaux gave both of his visits so far very high grades. Despite the weather, the visit to Lincoln got the edge.

"The visit to Ole Miss would be an "8". I would rate the visit to Nebraska as a "9"."
