Does he have a Nebraska offer?

It's about nine offers and counting for Chancey Aghayere and he just picked up some big offers. Before this recent batch though, Aghayere was already sitting on offers from Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech to name a few. Who is the latest to extend an offer to one of the most highly touted defensive ends in the state of Texas?

It was just going to take a bit of time and the word would spread pretty fast about Chancey Aghayere. The 6-foot-4 and 241 pound defensive end from Garland (Texas) went from four offers to seven recently.

"I just got offers from Notre Dame, Florida, Purdue and Vanderbilt," Aghayere said. "That makes about nine, total. I also have offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Baylor and Texas Tech."

With his size and his 4.7-speed in the 40, Aghayere knows that he will have a chance to play college football. By his offers, he will have a chance to play college football at a very high level at a very good school.

Still for Aghayere, he isn't letting the recruiting attention get to him. He is using the attention and the offers that he has received to this point as motivation to help him become the best player that he can possibly be.

"It motivates me. I use all of them as motivation for me to work harder. I am not going to get big-headed about any of this. I want to make myself the best player that I can possibly be."

A rumor has been floating around that Nebraska has extended Aghayere an offer, but if they had he doesn't know about it. "No sir. I don't have a Nebraska offer. I haven't picked one up from Nebraska."

As a sophomore Aghayere collected 31 tackles, nine tackles for loss, five sacks, caused one fumble, recovered two fumbles and was named the Sophomore of the Year for region 11-5A. A year later Aghayere collected 60 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and four sacks. He earned first team all-district honors as a junior.
