It might have been a little of foreshadowing to see Sean Fisher head back to Lincoln so quickly following his camp there earlier in the week. More than that, he was headed there with his father, a former Nebraska Cornhusker. Fisher is actually still in Lincoln, but took the time to briefly catch up with Big Red Report.
The suspense is over, and Nebraska
Cornhusker fans can collectively breathe another sigh of relief. Sean Fisher
verbally committed to the Nebraska staff earlier today.
"Yes, I did commit," Fisher responded to the question. "I am actually still in Lincoln and the coaches are heading out for camp. Can I call you back?"
The Nebraska offer sort of shocked Fisher when he got it. The timing was earlier then he had expected. Many teams have followed suit with an offer.
Fisher was particularly waiting on an Iowa offer and since then has picked up an offer from Oklahoma. The 6-foot-5 and 208 pound Fisher is projected to play SAM linebacker for Nebraska.
