Huskers expecting visit from Okpara?

Unofficial visitors will become a thing of the past in a couple of weeks. Mostly because when the coaches at Nebraska come back they will be neck deep in getting ready for fall camp and the season. Before then, Nebraska might be expecting a few more, big unofficial visitors in Lincoln. One said tonight he is still trying to get to Lincoln.

The latest with Junior Okpara of Sugar Land (Texas) Fort Bend Dulles is that he would still like to visit Nebraska. The 6-foot-1 and 180-pound cornerback says there isn't a solid visit plan, yet.

"I want to get to Lincoln either this weekend or next weekend," Okpara said. "I don't have anything set yet because we haven't been able to talk about it."

Okpara went on to say that one of the reasons that nothing is set yet is because both of his parents travel a lot. The visit to Lincoln will depend on when they are free.

"We are planning on flying to Lincoln from Texas. The visit date just depends when they (parents) are free. I am aiming for one of the next two weekends."

Okpara was an honorable mention all-district player as a sophomore. As a junior he had 61 tackles, broke up two passes and recovered a fumble.
