Nebraska commit will be in Lincoln

One of the biggest commitments for Nebraska, by need, will be in Lincoln for the first time since he committed. After just one game he has shown why Nebraska gave him so much attention and wanted to get his commitment so badly. This commitment has also been active in recruiting other players to Lincoln and will get the chance to meet a lot of them for the first time on Saturday.

While Denton (Texas) Ryan didn't win their season opener, it's not because Josh Williams wasn't trying. This weekend is game #2 for Ryan and Williams and on Saturday he will be going on his official visit.

"Yes, I will be up in Lincoln this weekend," Williams said. "I am just looking forward to getting up there and meeting up with all of the guys."

Williams has been in contact with a lot of the Nebraska commitments and he is excited the most about meeting and hanging out with them.

"I want to hang out with Bryce Givens, D.J. Woods, Blaine Gabbert, Will Compton and I think that Jonas Gray will be there unofficially."

Another reason why Williams wants to visit this weekend is because of the opponent. He would love to see an upset.

"The fact that they are playing the #1 team, that is the biggest thing, and hopefully Nebraska can get an upset."

As stated before, Ryan is 0-1, but Williams had a terrific game. He is off to a great start which could lead to one heck of a senior campaign for Ryan.

"I had four sacks, 10 tackles, seven tackles for loss, one quarterback pressure and one deflected pass. That was in our season opener against Coffeyville (Texas) Heritage. We lost 21-14."
