Las Vegas WR will be in Lincoln

It's worked out for Nebraska before, as late as last year, to get team mates to commit to them. Last year it was Eric Hagg and William Yancy from Glendale (Ariz.) Ironwood to commit to Nebraska. Those two came in on different official visit weekends while this pair, a quarterback and his receiver, will be in Lincoln for the same game this coming weekend.

Raevon Samuel from Las Vegas (Nev.) Canyon Springs high school is set to take his first official visit this weekend. Samuel will be going to the same place as his quarterback, Devonte Christopher.

"Yes I am," Samuel said. "I am going to the USC game at Nebraska this weekend."

Samuel is going to watch a good game, first of all, but he also wants to see what it's like in Memorial Stadium for home games. He also wants to know how Nebraska uses their receivers.

"I am going to watch the game and check out the game environment. I also want to see how they use their receivers."

To date, the Nebraska visit is the only visit that Samuel has set up. "Nebraska is the only one. I don't have any other visits set up at this time."

Christopher mentioned in a story to Big Red Report that he had some good passing numbers in the first couple of games. Samuel wasn't sure what his stats were so far this season. "I am not too sure what my stats are through two games."
