"Yes, I will be there," Gray said. "That will be my official visit."
Gray has seen Lincoln before, but not for a game. This time around he wants to get a good look at what it's like to be in Lincoln for a game.
"I definitely want to see the atmosphere of the crowd that they have on game days and just see a good, clean football game."
Gray is also looking at this weekend as a chance to influence others. He will be there with some other commitments and wants a chance to try and work some of the uncommitted players that will be there.
"It's big to get in there to see the other commits and try and influence the other recruits. It will be good to see the guys that are committed."
One person that people might be interested in if he is coming to Nebraska this weekend too is Kenny Demens. "No, no he's not. Kenny won't be able to make his visit to Nebraska this weekend."
One of the teams that Gray was considering when he chose Nebraska was Michigan. Michigan has since started out 0-2 this season and are selling the aspect of "needing" players to recover.
One such person that is getting that treatment from Michigan is Demens. Gray says that Michigan hasn't re-approached him with that angle and had some things to say about that approach.
"No they haven't. If they were to use that angle at me I really wouldn't understand it. Their coach is basically on the hot seat and you don't know who your future coach might be."
"How could you go to a program where you don't even know what the future is or what the future looks like for that program?"
"For some guys, it might be a good angle like it would be a good time to go there. I am just not a big fan of that angle."
