Nebraska, Cyclones to Kick Off at 1:05 p.m.

Nebraska has announced that the Huskers' Sept. 29 Big 12 Conference opener against Iowa State will kick off at 1:05 p.m. CDT. No television coverage is planned for the game.

The Nebraska-Iowa State game will air on the Husker Sports Radio Network, and its more than 50 affiliate stations nationwide. The Husker Sports Network call by the broadcast team of Jim Rose, Adrian Fiala and Matt Davison can also be heard around the world on and on Sirius Satellite Radio. The Husker Sports Network will begin its pre-game show for the Nebraska-ISU game at 8 a.m., including a live broadcast from the Husker Nation Pavilion beginning at 10 a.m.

"We hope our fans will enjoy a more traditional early afternoon game time for our Big 12 conference opener against Iowa State," Nebraska Athletic Director Steve Pederson said. "The Husker Nation Pavilion will open at 10 a.m., giving fans a chance to enjoy that area before the game. For our fans not attending the game, our Husker Sports Network team will provide outstanding coverage of the contest as it does every week throughout the season. Our radio network partner has made exciting changes to its format and broadcast lineup, and I know Husker fans will enjoy listening to the game."

Game times and television coverage for Nebraska's remaining games will be announced six to 12 days in advance.

Nebraska's matchup with Ball State on Saturday is set for an 11:37 a.m. kickoff, with the game being televised on a pay-per-view basis by FSN. Suggested retail price for the game is $29.95 and full ordering instructions are available on
