Check out some audio from today's press conference as players talk about the weekend that was and the weekend ahead as Nebraska prepares to play Iowa State.
Redshirt freshman offensive guard Keith Williams
is much like any player who has to take the typical route to getting on the field. He works hard during practice, learns behind more experienced players and bides his time, waiting for the chance to play. Williams got more of that in this last game than he has since he's arrived and comes out of it feeling pretty good. More than anything, though, it's the entire line which he feels is getting things going the right direction.
Each time sophomore linebacker Phillip Dillard hits the field, you can literally feel the intensity. That's his trademark, and he takes it to the field each time. That particular factor, along with the increased quality of his play has meant a lot more time on the field. Now, for him and the entire defense, it's about figuring out what's wrong as a unit, working on bringing that intensity to the field as a whole, and taking this group of blackshirts to the next level.
