Kuli and Thompson to visit NU

For two home games, Nebraska hasn't had any official visitors. This weekend, there is just one. The USC weekend was the biggest weekend by far with seven players on official visits. Of those seven, four were already committed. There was a pair of teammates that weekend and there will another pair for the Texas A&M game according to their coach.

Two of the top rated defensive lineman in the nation happen to be teammates at Torrance (Calif.) El Camino C.C. Coach Tim Hyde says that both, Simi Kuli and Justin Thompson are playing good ball and doing some recruiting as well.

"Everything is going good," Coach Hyde said. "The season is going well and they are both doing some recruiting."

Kuli and Thompson will both be headed to the same place for an official visit one weekend in October. "They are both headed out to Nebraska for the Texas A&M game. Justin and Simi will both be there that weekend."

There is a bye weekend coming up for Coach Hyde and El Camino. Coach Hyde said that he hoped that he would have a chance to get their stats together.

"I don't know what their stats are. They are both playing good football. We have a bye next week and we will get those totaled."

A recent rumor surfaces about Kuli potentially thinking about staying on the west coast. Coach Hyde couldn't comment on that and said that Kuli has four trips set up as of right now.

"I don't know anything about that. He has about four trips set up and he's not going to make up his mind until December."

"He's going to LSU next weekend, to Nebraska on the 20th, he's definitely going to trip to Oklahoma once the season is over and one to Oregon State."
