Woods' visit to Nebraska

With the midway point to most seasons gone, each recruit has at least some idea of the schools they are considering. Some lists are still long, but some are dwindled down to but a few. Marcus hasn't had to dwindle his list down as it's been a two-horse race for some time. Another school has joined in, but after Wood's most recent official visit to the University of Nebraska, where does everyone stand now?

Marcus Woods - RB-5'8-180-4.4/40 - Farmington Hills, MI (Harrison HS) - Having just taken his first official visit of the year, Marcus Woods has come away with a smile on his face "Everyone who has asked how Nebraska is I tell them it's the best, if you think Michigan St has good facilities you haven't seen Nebraska's. They have 6 indoor fields all of them have turf. Michigan St has great stuff too, but nothing compared to Nebraska."

There is no top 10 or top 5 for Woods either, it's a top 2 ½ "I like Nebraska and Michigan St., Bowling Green is somewhere in there also, but those are the only schools I'm looking at."

Currently Wood has five offers on the table: Nebraska, Mich St., Bowling Green, Toledo, and Eastern Michigan have all offered this running back hoping to get his services for the next 4-5 years. But, only one more will get a visit for certian "I'm going to Michigan St. on the 13th of December, I may go to Bowling Green and I may not, I haven't decided yet."

Marcus said he would not make a decision to come before his next visit, but one most likely would come shortly there after, so possibly look for a commitment from him in late December.

Woods team is currently 5-2 "The season would've been much better if we had started off decently, we've come a long ways from how we started."

Wood currently has about 1000 rushing yards with 18 TD's to date.
