CB standout, Chad Green

At this point of the recruiting season, a few players have already decided where they are heading. That would be a luxury to some. For Chad Green, he hasn't quite gotten to the point of committing, but he's definitely ahead of the game. Visits scheduled, schools in line, he's about as prepared as he can be for those wonderful official visits. Or, is he?

Chad Green (Van Nuys, CA (Birmingham HS)) (6'1-175-4.4/40) Rated as one of the best defensive backs in California and number 27 in the nation by the InSiders, Chad Green is getting closer to pulling the trigger "I've got my favorites pretty much done, most of my trips have been arranged, now its just a waiting game."

And who are these favorites? "Well its pretty much down to Washington, Oregon, LSU, Arizona St., and Cal." But what may be a little strange is his visits which include three of his favorites: LSU (Nov), Oregon (Dec), Arizona St. (Dec), and then a darkhorse, Kansas St. (Dec).

While Kansas St currently does not make his list of top 5, they are a sleeper along with fellow Big XII school Nebraska "Kansas St has recently offered me and I want to see what its like there, just to be sure. Also, Coach Darlington from Nebraska has been in pretty close contact too, I'm thinking they will offer."

Chad currently has 8 offers on paper: Oregon, Oregon St., Kansas St., Arizona St., Washington, Washington St., Cal, and LSU.

Chad has scored on a 940 on the SAT but was not sure if his core GPA at the moment.
