Back "N"!

The fallout on the commitment list has been devastating. Nebraska had gone out and landed their top quarterback, top running back, one of their top receivers, one of the best offensive lines in the nation and a couple of defensive ends. In the weeks leading up to signing day, Nebraska just received a huge boost. Get inside the RedZone to read about this commitment!

Blaine Gabbert? Gone. Jonas Gray? Gone. D.J. Woods? You guessed it, gone. The 2008 class is going to have a whole new look to it in February in comparison to what it looked like in September. There will be one part that was there in September, gone in December, but is re-joining that class.

"Yes, it's true," Josh Williams said. "I am a Husker."

Williams wanted to get back to Nebraska to meet with the new coaches in Lincoln. It turned out it was exactly what Williams needed to feel good about Nebraska again.

"I wanted to get back up there and get that relationship with the new coaches. I always thought that Nebraska was the best place for me and there is new energy there with that staff."

"It was back, for me, and I thought that committing to Nebraska was the best thing to do for me."

Of course, committing to Nebraska might be the easy part. Williams said that that Colorado coaches were just given the news about his change of heart.

"I told Colorado a little bit ago. They were here at the house. I am going to tell all of the schools recruiting me that I am shutting this down. I'm done."

Williams was given some good information about how Nebraska is planning to use him under Bo Pelini. Williams was told that they would like to use him like Demorrio Williams, presently with the Atlanta Falcons, but was a pass-rushing machine for Nebraska.

"They told me that I can come in and compete. They said that I can be a rush guy off of the edge. They are going to use me in different packages immediately and then develop me as a four down guy."
