One made it and one didn't?

It was supposed to be both. Shaun and Shane Prater were set to visit Nebraska this weekend as much as they could. Both play basketball and had basketball games on both Friday and Saturday night, but were going to make it to Nebraska still this weekend. One of the Prater's did make it to Lincoln while the other did not.

As a bit of a surprise, Shaun Prater and Shane Prater were set to visit Nebraska this weekend. The twin brothers from Omaha (Nebr.) Central are actually committed to Iowa.

Both of the Prater's are very athletically gifted and getting them to visit Nebraska is a big step in trying to get them off of their Iowa commitment. Only one Prater made it to Lincoln this weekend with the other staying solid on his commitment.

"Actually, Shaun went, but I didn't go," Shane Prater said. "I decided not to go. On Monday, I told Coach Kirk Ferentz that I wasn't going to go to Nebraska. I stuck with my promise."

It seems that the interest and the offer might have been just a little too late with Shane. Shane has decided not to look around and is going to sign with Iowa. "No, I am not going to consider Nebraska at all. I am solid to Iowa."

Big Red Report will be catching up with Shaun a little later in the day to see what he thought about his trip to Lincoln.
