A change in plans

Nebraska is still looking for a couple of players at the wide receiver position. The Huskers were supposed to be hosting one of the top receivers in California this past weekend. However, some recent changes in events has led this receiver to reconsider visiting Nebraska and go back to his original set of plans.

The Huskers were going to get a crack at Jerry Johnson, a 6-foot-2 and 186-pound receiver from Los Angeles (Calif.) Venice, but he recently changed his mind.

"I'm not, actually," Johnson said. "I just decided not to go."

Johnson who was a UCLA commitment, but was looking around after the changes with the coaching staff, said that he is back on board with the Bruins.

"I have solidified my commitment to UCLA again. I decided to get solid back to UCLA again."
