Back from Nebraska........again

Back from another trip to the Cornhusker State, Martin Rucker got to see Nebraska play, but also got to see them lose. He also had another great reason to be there as his older brother, Mike Rucker was there as well. Is Rucker closer to a decision on where he wants to go and has his brother Mike said anything about schools one way or another? Check out the update to see.

Martin Rucker -St Joseph, MO (Benton)- (TE-6'5-205-4.65/40) After taking yet another unofficial to Nebraska to see the Huskers lose a heartbreaker to Texas, Rucker was upbeat about one of his top three schools even during a loss "Going into the game there's no way you'd think the game would've been that close." He also talked about the end of the Huskers home streak "It's just hard to imagine Nebraska losing to Texas at home twice, they should've won"

What made this unofficial a little more special than the last one is that his brother Mike (Former NU player, current Carolina Panther DE) was there with him. "We did get to spend a lot of time together. We got to hang out on the sidelines before the game, though. That was special."

And does big brother have an input on Martins current dilemma of selecting a college for next year? "Mike has been supportive, but he's remained neutral in the entire process. He just tells me go where I feel I can get playing time, where I can get an education."

And what schools are competing with Nebraska? Missouri and Colorado St join the elite three on Rucker's list. With having officials set up with Missouri (12/6) and Nebraska (12/13) one will now be added for Colorado St. "They haven't offered, but were setting up an official and we'll see what happens from there."

When asked if Martin will plan any more unofficial visits he said he was going to try to make it to one of Missouri's remaining games.

Martin hopes to make a decision prior to Christmas once all of his officials have been taken.
