"We did bad last year," Qvale said. "I was an all-state selection the past two years as an offensive tackle. We don't keep track of stats."
At 6-foot-7 and 300-pounds, Qvale has size. He claims that he has the strength and technique to go with it to make him a legit division one prospect.
"I would say my physical strength and positioning. Getting to where you need to be, beating a defensive player and a lot of technique."
While Qvale might be a legit division one prospect he has yet to pull in a division one offer. He is getting some serious interest though from some division one teams.
Out of the teams having offered and out of the teams showing him interest, Qvale has a top three. He is really looking at the tradition of the three schools.
"The top three schools for me would have to be Iowa, Nebraska and Wisconsin. They're big football school. They have tradition."
Qvale is looking at a team, the fit and academics when it comes to his decision. "I want to look at their team, what offense they run, how I fit in and what does their team need. I will also look at academics a lot."
The Huskers will host Qvale first on Thursday. He will be in Lincoln Wednesday, but will be in for a one day camp on Thursday. From there, it gets hectic.
"I am going to camp at Nebraska, Iowa State, Iowa and Wisconsin. I will do all four in five days. I want to get that division one offer."
