Summer visit to Nebraska?

What Nebraska has to offer, in terms of playing time and an offense that will get you the ball, it has some of the top wide receivers listening. This particular wide receiver is holding 17 offers including offers to California, Stanford, Virginia and Vanderbilt. However, the Huskers have shown some serious interest without offering and that might be enough to get a visit

One of the top players in the state of Texas this year is Terdema Ussery. The 6-foot-4 and 196-pound, with 4.47/40 speed, Ussery is a standout wide receiver at the private school Dallas (Texas) St. Marks.

"I think that I have good body control between defenders," said Ussery. "I am also good off the ball. I like it when they try to do press coverage on me. I al enjoy having the ball in my hands."

Ussery only played in five games last year after an ankle injury. He still ended up earning all-conference honors. "I ended up with 29 receptions, 431 yards and seven scores. My sophomore year I had 5 receptions for 150 yards and four scores."

There are 17 offers on the table for Ussery already, but he hasn't really had a chance to sit down and think about things. He just returned from a two week trip to Thailand.

"I have offers from California, Virginia, Stanford, Colorado and Vanderbilt among others. I am also getting strong interest from Nebraska and Oklahoma."

Ussery is looking at the big three when it comes to his decision. "I am most interested in the education. I also want to get along well with the team mates and the coaching staff. I want a staff that will be around a while."

To this point, Ussery has only taken an unofficial visit to Stanford. That is about to change. "I am going to sit down with my parents and pick five schools to go and visit this summer.

"We are going to talk about the schools and we will talk about visiting schools that haven't offered, but showed interest. Oklahoma and Nebraska definitely fall there and I would like to visit them this summer."

Besides 4.7 speed, Ussery benches 250, squats 345 and cleans 235. He has a 36" vertical jump as well. He carries a 3.2 GPA and scored a 1960 on his SAT.
