Brown, a 6-foot-5 and 205-pound wide receiver from Argyle (Texas), has talked about taking a Nebraska visit for a long time. Next week, his father says that will finally happen.
"We will be up there Tuesday," Mr. Brown said. "We are also going back to Kansas. That will be our second time there. We figured since we were that close we would go back to Kansas."
"The Nebraska and Kansas offers are two of his favorites. Kansas just recently opened up their new facilities and we didn't get a chance to see them the time we were up there."
Mr. Brown indicated that he hadn't heard anything about the commitment of five-star quarterback, Cody Green, to Nebraska. It is something that he definitely wants to look into when it comes to looking at Nebraska.
"No, I didn't see that. I am looking forward to hearing more about him while we are up there. That is good. That is real good."
Mr. Brown wasn't able to comment on who his son's favorites are, but did indicate that things are being narrowed down. "He has narrowed things down a little bit. He wants to go and check out Nebraska."
Brown is excited about the trip. He's never been further north than Lawrence, Kans. There is a need to understand how things look and function in Lincoln according to Brown.
"I have never been to Nebraska or anywhere close to there besides Kansas. I am just real interested in seeing the stadium, the school and the prestige that Nebraska has."
Nebraska picked up an exciting commitment from Cody Green yesterday. The #3 rated and five-star quarterback has committed to Nebraska and that has Brady thinking about Nebraska.
"You have to really take it into consideration when a five-star quarterback goes out and picks a school. He's a great quarterback and he will find ways to get you the ball.
"I have checked him out on Scout.com, but have not met him. I thought he looked like a great player, great quarterback and throws the ball really excellent."
