A decision is coming from Brown

If there is a position that Nebraska is looking for some numbers at this year it's at wide receiver. The Huskers have gotten some taller, bigger players at the position in the recent years and are looking again at a big receiver. Brady Brown has a big body where he could play outside, but at Argyle (Texas) he plays the slot and that indicates having good hands.

Brady Brown is getting close to making a decision. The 6-foot-5 and 205-pound receiver from Argyle (Texas) recently took some time off to get some time away from recruiting and enjoy the last weeks of summer.

"I just got back from South Carolina," Brown said. "My mom's family is from out there and that is where we go and spend a couple of weeks every summer. It's good to take a break."

That break might have included some time to think about a decision that he would like to make very soon. Fall camp is around the corner and it seems like Brown would like to make the decision before it starts.

"I am looking to make the decision sometime before we start two a days, which I think starts in two weeks. Hopefully before then I will."

The Huskers have had a recent run of commitments last week, getting three in three days, and all three coming from Texas. Brown is very familiar with one of the commitments that Nebraska just received.

"I heard that Nebraska just got Jesse Coffey from Denton (Texas) Guyer. I think that there were some others that they had gotten recently. Our family and their family know each other. My dad and his grandfather play golf a lot together."

Brown recently returned from an unofficial visit to Nebraska a couple of weeks ago. The Huskers got a high rating on the visit, a 9 out of 10, and this could come down to Kansas and Nebraska for his decision.
