Practices resume for game-week No. 2

Nebraska resumed practices after an off-day following their win over Western Michigan.

Nebraska took to the inside of Memorial Stadium in half-pads following a one-day layoff after the victory over Western Michigan. Not practicing today was junior safety Rickey Thenarse. Head Coach Bo Pelini said of Thenarse that he had a soft-tissue injury in his shoulder following a play on special teams during the game, and he is as of right now day-to-day.

Senior right tackle Lydon Murtha did not participate in the season-opener at all, still nursing what Pelini said was a muscular issue with his left arm. Pelini said of Murtha's condition that he is also day-to-day, but he is expected back soon.

Nebraska will resume practice tomorrow following the weekly pre-game press conference as they prepare to play San Jose State on Saturday.
