Tuipulotu concentrating on present

Nebraska brought in one of their commits early in the season, Dontrayevous Robinson, who also brought his team mate Siosaia Tuipulotu from Euless (Texas) Trinity. The Huskers really made an impression on Tuipulotu who it seemed just needed to get home and talk to some family before maybe making a decision. Have things changed?

The regular season is about half-way done for Texas high schools and still the number one team in the state and the nation is Euless (Texas) Trinity. Siosaia Tuipulotu, who goes by L.T., is one of the big reasons why.

A big defensive tackle at 6-foot-2 and 285-pounds, the most impressive thing about Tuipulotu might be how he moves for a big guy. He has already taken one official visit to Nebraska, but has he thought about recruiting since?

"I don't even know yet," Tuipulotu said. "I am really focused on my season and stuff. I am trying to do well and focus on my school and stuff.

"I don't want to think about college and not have the grades to go to college. I really want to stay on top of my school and try my best.

"Right now, my grades are good. I have everything going the right way. I just need to stay focused on everything that I have going on."

It appears that L.T. Tuipulotu is in a bit of a holding pattern. More than that, he is eyeing at least three other trips and probably won't be able to take any of those trips until after the season is over with.

"I am going to take more trips. I would like to see Utah, Louisville and Fresno State. I don't know about the other one yet.

"I don't have any dates set on any trips. I don't think that I will take anymore trips during the season. I will have to wait until after the season to take those trips."

Tuipulotu still stays in touch with Nebraska quite a bit. He mentioned that he was going to call the Nebraska staff tonight and that the Huskers were still on top of his list.

"I was going to call Nebraska tonight. I have been staying in touch with them. They have been calling me, but I haven't been able to talk to them. I still like Nebraska a lot. They are still number one on my list."
