"It's going pretty good," White said. "I think that we are 2-2 right now. We don't start playing until around the start of September.
"My season is going good. I am playing running back, safety and wide receiver. I am also doing some kick returning."
White wasn't sure exactly what his stats were, but he does know that he has scored three times. Each score came from playing a different position.
"I don't know what my stats are. I have three touchdowns. I scored one rushing, one receiving and the other is from me running back a pick."
Most of the colleges that White is being considered by say that he is a defensive recruit. One has left it open as an athlete and another has just mentioned offense. It doesn't matter to White where he plays.
"It really doesn't matter to me where I play in college. I would say on defense that I cover the field well. I can also come up and make the hit supporting the run.
"The college coaches all like me back at safety. They didn't say whether it's strong or free. They just like me back there. I do both right now.
Recruiting was just heating up for White when he was set to take his first trip to Nebraska. Now, he is in need of something happening before he can take any trips.
"The closest I got to taking a visit was to taking one to Nebraska a couple of weeks ago. I had to take the SAT before I could go on any trips.
White likes Nebraska, mainly because of his recruiting coach and the remaining staff at Nebraska. He also likes the idea that their head coach was a defensive coordinator in the SEC and Big 12.
Conveniently, the coach that is recruiting White is the brother of the head coach. His recruiting coach has talked to him about how they see him fitting in at Lincoln.
"Coach Carl Pelini is the coach that's recruiting me. He has told me about how much they like me and how I fit in there with what they are trying to do."
