Sixth visitor revealed

It's a bit of a tradition, but on Thursday's practice if there is a home game in Lincoln, the head coach typically says the number for the weekend official visitors. This week, Bo Pelini said the number was six. Adding Terrence Stephens and Jason Ankrah to Antonio Bell, Al-Terek McBurse and Shawn Bodtmann made five. This player makes it six.

There is always a bit of a struggle to piece together the weekend visitors before the game. Last night, Big Red Report reported Terrence Stephens and Jason Ankrah were joining Antonio Bell, Al-Terek McBurse and Shawn Bodtmann this weekend, but there was a sixth person Bo Pelini mentioned Thursday.

Last night, Euless (Texas) Trinity linebacker, Earnest Norman, was taking part in the last game of the regular season. Sometime after the game concluded, he updated a personal website to talk about his plans for the weekend.

"I'm up in Nebraska for the weekend about to attend the Kansas vs. Nebraska game."

Norman is a 6-foot-0 and 220-pound linebacker for Trinity. As a junior, he tallied 143 tackles, was an honorable mention all-state selection and was the defensive MVP of the district. Norman actually began his career at safety as a freshman and sophomore before moving to linebacker as a junior.

Norman is the teammate of Nebraska commitment, Dontrayevous Robinson, and is a leader on the defense for top ranked Euless Trinity that was actually rated #1 nationally for part of the year by USAToday.

Big Red Report will catch up with Norman personally following the conclusion of his visit on Sunday. Stay tuned for the latest on the game and the official visitors.
