Wants to get the word out

Nebraska might have looked the best that they have all year this Saturday against Kansas. If it wasn't for a turnover or two and some penalties the Huskers went out and just dominated the Jayhawks from Kansas. Coincidentally, the Huskers were hosting a Jayhawk commit this weekend as well and it appears the weekend made an impression on him.

Earnest Norman, a 6-foot-0 and 220-pound linebacker recruit from Euless (Texas) Trinity, was in Lincoln this weekend. Ironically, he was in Lincoln to see the Huskers take on the school that he was committed to, Kansas.

From the sounds of things, the weekend went well for all of the recruits that were in Lincoln. The environment at the game was electric and while the weather was the worst for any weekend so far it wasn't enough to keep Norman from changing his mind about his college choice.

"I'm committed to the University of Nebraska," Norman said in a text message. "Let the Husker Nation know."

Norman was an all-state honorable mention and defensive MVP of the district last year after compiling 143 tackles. He is the team mate of Dontrayevious Robinson, a running back from Euless (Texas) Trinity who is also committed to Nebraska.
