McBurse, 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, talked about what he did out in Lincoln.
"We toured the campus, hung out with the players, and just had a good time," he said. "My favorite part was the tunnel walk before the game. They get pretty crazy for the games out there."
The visit to Nebraska was the first for McBurse, who said it might be tough for anyone to overcome the Huskers.
"I really liked it out there," he said. "They could be number one but I gotta see what else is out there. One of the things I really liked was how they use their running backs. I think it fits me."
So what other schools are on the talented back's list of potential visits?
Since McBurse plans on graduating early, he said he'd like to get his visits finished in the near future.
"I'm not sure when I'll decide," he said. "I guess it'll be whenever I feel comfortable making a decision."
In the meantime, McBurse is chading history. He's closing in on 2,000 yards for the season and with just one game left this season, he's hoping to put his name in the record books.
"I'm ready to break the 2,000 yard mark and I'll be trying to get the Seminole County record this week," he said.
