It was a "10"

Sometimes it's hard to travel a long way from home for an official visit. You end up looking for something to bridge that gap and for Bennie Logan it was the other players at Nebraska from Louisiana. Logan was in Lincoln this weekend and got to see a great game as the Huskers beat Colorado. What did he like about the weekend?

Nebraska was able to get three defensive ends in for official visits this past weekend. One of them was Bennie Logan Coushatta (La.) Red River Parish Alternative School.

"It was great," Logan said. "Everything was great. I liked everything on my trip to Nebraska."

There is usually a lot to take in on visits, but one of the biggest is feeling comfortable. Nebraska is a long way from Louisiana, but there were some people there that could relate.

"It's different, but I could live here. There are some players there from Louisiana like P.J. Smith and Terrence Moore.

"They were really cool with me and were some great people to meet. It's good to know there are some up there that are from Louisiana."

Logan was a player that some predicted might commit. He didn't and is eyeing a couple more visits before making any decisions.

"I didn't commit, no sir. I am going to go to LSU and Arkansas. I also want to talk to my family first before I make any decisions."

The visit couldn't have gone any better for Logan who admits that the visit to Nebraska got his highest mark and he wouldn't have changed a thing about it.

"It was a "10". I can't think of anything that I would have made any better. Everything was really good up here."
