Practice Wrap Up

Nebraska hit the halfway point of Spring practices today. New faces trying to create identities. Older faces trying to maintain their spot or improve. There may not be a game up-coming, but progress still at a premium. Check the full story as we give you the notes from today's practice along with full post practice audio with Head Coach Bo Pelini.

The team went full pads today for the fifth day in row.

Not participating in today's practice were senior wide receiver Chris Brooks Sr. and junior linebacker Blake Lawrence. Both were out with injuries Bo Pelini said weren't serious, and each is expected back at some point next week.

Today was the last day of the Coaching Clinic, an estimated 800 coaches in attendance, including former Wisconsin Head Coach Barry Alvarez, who spent his college playing days at Nebraska, along with Sonny Lubick, the former Head Coach of Colorado State.

The team will scrimmage tomorrow, according to the Head Coach, and will take Monday and Tuesday off before resuming practice on Wednesday.

Check out the full audio from today's practice as the Head Coach talks about where this team is in relation to progress, what they have carried over from last year and what they have to emphasize perhaps a little less this time around, because players are used to the Pelini'style by now.
