"Our spring is going pretty good," Guy said. "It gets over tomorrow. Our spring game is tomorrow for us so it's wrapping up. It's been busy with the colleges as well.
Guy is a player that is being a little pigeon-holed into one of the defensive line positions. Guy, however, has also heard that they will move him around and he said he could play either one.
"They want me to play at the one, but they said that I could move around. I told them that I could do anything at the defensive tackle position. I am ready for anything."
What makes Guy so special is his athleticism for being a big man. Guy has around a 5-flat 40-time and can do anything you ask him to do as a defensive tackle.
"Just being athletic as a defensive tackle; being able to make adjustments. Being athletic gives you a wide range of what you can do as a defensive tackle.
"I get to do a little bit of everything with my high school team. We run a 4-3 and a 3-4 so I get the best of both worlds. I am well-rounded as a defensive tackle."
Guy made an early commitment to California. He is looking into taking some other trips though to make sure that his decision is right for him. Two Big 12 schools come to mind when it comes to the extra trips.
"I committed to Cal sometime around the end of February or the beginning of March. I think that I have to check out some other schools to make the right decision.
"I want to make sure the decision that I make is the right one for me. I would like to check out Nebraska. That is a good program and I have spoken with Bo Pelini.
"I would like to take a look at Texas Tech. That is a program that is on the rise and that is a school that I would like to take a look at as well."
