Right now, it's true

The Nebraska coaching staff has put together another, later Junior Day that is getting some very good response. There is definitely a need to try and get some defensive lineman in this class and in two weeks, Nebraska will host a very good one from Texas. This DT is also a commitment to a PAC 10 school making it even more interesting to see how this plays out.

According to a message from Will Hampton of Houston (Texas) Cy-Creek, the 6-foot-3 and 275-pound defensive tackle with 4.89/40-yard speed, is set to see Nebraska in two weeks. That is, that things look like they are a go now.

"Right now that is true," Hampton said. "My parents are trying to work out the details of the visit."

What makes this a little interesting is that Hampton is currently a commit. However, Hampton has been talking to Big Red Report for about a month now letting it be known he will take other visits.

One of the reasons Hampton is a little interested in looking around, according to a 6/21 report with Big Red Report, is because at the time Hampton did commit to Stanford that he was only holding one other offer.

"I was really only holding one other offer from Northwestern. I have picked up some other offers since then. I have 16 offers now.

"I picked offers from Nebraska, Texas Tech, Wake Forest, Duke, Colorado, Missouri and there are some others. Notre Dame is close."

Hampton plays defensive end right now but is ultimately being looked to move inside to play defensive tackle in college. Last year Hampton was all-district and had 43 tackles, 4 sacks, caused 4 fumbles and 1 fumble recovery.
