Recruiting Update: S Harvey Jackson

The 60th ranked safety, Harvey Jackson, has offers from Baylor, Utah, Nebraska, Missouri, SMU, Oklahoma State, and Houston. He talked to about his recruitment and says that he will be ready to make a decision in the near future.

"Nebraska, Utah, Baylor, Missouri, SMU, Houston, and Oklahoma State have offered me," said the rangy 6-2/200 pound safety from Hightower High School, Harvey Jackson.

With all of those offers, does Jackson has a favorite?

"No, Sir. I don't have a favorite right now. I'm looking at everyone the same."

"I plan on making a decision real soon so, I'll have to cut down my list. But, right now, I don't have a favorite."

Thinking about the above comments, one could imagine that Jackson has visited each school on his list and has a fair basis for making a decision. However, that is not the case.

"I've only been to Houston, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State."

"Oklahoma State has really nice facilities and a good coaching staff. Houston practices really hard and I like that about them. And Oklahoma was nice. Other than them schools, I haven't seen anyone else. But, I don't need to. I'll commit to a school that I haven't seen if my heart tells me that it is the program I should go to. I know that I want to go to a school with a high graduation percentage, has success on the field, has a good head coach, and a nice environment. I'll know what school fits that by the time I make my decision.

Jackson said that he wants to make his decision early in the season. Stay tuned to as we bring you update information on Jackson's decision.
