Evans is "N"

Cornerback Ciante Evans makes his college decision by committing to Nebraska and the athlete from Seguin High in Arlington, Texas spoke with Scout.com about his decision.

"I felt like the school was the place for me," said three star CB Ciante Evans. "I was ready to get the decision out of the way and focus on the season and I knew Nebraska was where I wanted to go so it made sense for me to commit."

Nebraska wasn't Evans only option. He chose the Huskers over Texas A&M, Nebraska, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and Utah among others and it was his visit to Lincoln that set them apart.

"When I went on my trip up there, I met most of the academic advisors and I was blown away by the education and tutoring. It was everything that I was looking for."

"I went to Tech, A&M, Baylor, TCU, OU, and Oklahoma State and the were all good programs. They didn't do anything wrong. It wasn't about other schools. It was about how great of a place Nebraska is. Some people compare schools but for me it was a feeling and they [Nebraska] felt right.

Evans, who already has 13 tackles in just two games, says that he is thinking of graduating early to enroll in spring ball.
