Weekend list already shaping up

Nebraska is coming off of a loss on the road that very easily could have been a win. This weekend Nebraska will play under the lights against an opponent that Nebraska could use to get some frustrations out on. All of that and this will be the 300th consecutive sellout for Nebraska; a streak that extends back to 1962. Who is coming to town this weekend?

In two interviews to Big Red Report earlier this evening, Bud Sasser a wide receiver from Denton (Texas) Ryan and Ciante Evans a Nebraska commitment who is a cornerback from Arlington (Texas) Seguin both confirmed that they are coming in.

"I am going up this weekend coming up," Sasser said. "This will be my first time there and I am interested in seeing if it's like everything that everyone tells me about."

Evans said much of the same as Sasser except being a Nebraska commitment, and having seen Nebraska before, it's interesting to hear about what else they want to experience.

"Yep, I am going up there," Evans said. "I want to experience the environment of a game there and how the crowd is going to be. I also want to talk to the coaches a little more."

Evans knows about the significance of the weekend and being the 300th sellout. Sasser also spoke about the 300th sellout and the throwback uniforms that Nebraska will be wearing.

"I know that it's not a really big game or anything, but I know that it's the 300th consecutive sellout. I know that it's going to be a pretty big deal and wear throwback uniforms."

Sasser has some ties to Nebraska, but hasn't talked to Josh Williams in some time. He also didn't catch Nebraska on television against Virginia Tech. "I haven't talked to Josh in a while and I didn't see Nebraska on TV this weekend. I know that it was close."

Evans had a bye this weekend and before he committed to Nebraska this was supposed to be an official visit weekend to Utah. "I didn't visit Utah. I didn't take that trip."

In two other text messages this evening, wide receiver Bobby Swigert confirmed that he was coming in as well as junior college tight end, Chase Harper.

Since the game this Saturday is scheduled for a 6:00 kickoff expect the list to grow and as more visitors confirm Big Red Report will let you know as they happen.
