Evans enjoys visit

The list of the official visitors for Nebraska included seven uncommitted guests and one commitment. The commitment, Ciante Evans, was able to make it up and see Nebraska during a game. It was everything that he wanted and more. The game day environment in Lincoln for the 300th sellout left quite an impression with Evans.

Nebraska commitment, Ciante Evans, is on his way back to Texas right now. The standout cornerback from Arlington (Texas) Seguin high school enjoyed his official visit to Nebraska over the weekend.

"I am at the airport about to get on a plane," Evans said. "The visit was good. I liked the game day atmosphere, how the fans treat their players and really how everything came together. It was really nice."

Beyond just the game day atmosphere, Evans got an intimate look of what it's going to be like to be a Husker on game days. He got to see behind the scenes and up close and personal.

"It felt good. I got to see how the players and the coaches acted on a game day. I got to see how the coaches reacted to the play of their players on the field. I saw how the defense communicated even though it was so noisy."

Overall the experience for Evans was amazing. There was some nostalgia for him considering it was the 300th sellout. The visit really cemented his feelings about becoming a Cornhusker.

"It was pretty crazy to see that game considering everything that was going on with the 300th sellout. I am really happy with my commitment and excited to be a future Husker."
