A good visit for Harper

One of the last players to track down following their official visit to Nebraska is standout junior college tight end, Chase Harper. His head coach, Nick Bobek, commented on what Harper told him his impressions were of his trip to see Nebraska's 300th consecutive sellout.

After his visit to Lincoln, for the 300th consecutive sell out at Memorial Stadium, Navarro Junior College stand-out Chase Harper has given Nebraska nothing but high remarks.

"He (Harper) really enjoyed the 300th sell out," said Nick Bobeck the head coach of the Navarro Bulldogs. "He was just happy to be somewhere that there is so much tradition. He really enjoyed the fans up there."

Bobeck said that he was sure that Harper talked to coach Ron Brown, and that the highly touted tight end told him he enjoyed talking to Head Coach, Bo Pelini.

"They told him they really like his athleticism," Bobeck said. "He is kind of an unknown product. No one really knows about him, except for what he's done in high school. He has only played four games for us. But he runs really well, and catches the ball well."

When asked if Harper had any plans to visit any other schools, Bobeck said he thinks Chase would like to, but hasn't heard of any other plans yet.

As for when Chase plans on committing, Bobeck said he was in the dark on the decision, and wasn't sure when it would come.

"I really don't know," Bobeck said. "He wont be able to graduate untill May, so it would surprise me if it came before that, but who knows. He red shirted last year and played basketball here. He is a very athletic kid, but I think he is going to wait and see how his season goes."

I hope to talk to Chase later today and get an update from him.
