Mobley looking forward to group visit to NU

With the big weekend for recruiting coming up next weekend in Lincoln, there is a lot of talk of making sure people are still taking the visit on November 7, when the Huskers take on Oklahoma. Four guys from the same school that are planning on making the trip together are, Austin Hill, Tyler Slavin, Joshua Mitchell and Harold Mobley.

"Yes, I think we are still planning on making the trip," Mark Thomas, Harold Mobley's uncle told the Big Red Thursday night. "Austin is going to be there for sure with his family. As for Mitchell I am not completely sure, but last time I checked he planned on going."

Thomas said that he is favoring for his nephew to go to Nebraska.

"If I had to pick, I would pick the Big Red." Thomas said. "It's not up to me though. He is the one who has to play football."

As for how the Nebraska coaches feel, Thomas thinks the feeling mutual.

"They love him, but it's hard to determine where they want him to play at,"Thomas said. "He is preforming at all levels."

Last Friday, Mobley started at Quarterback for Eleanor Roosevelt High School, in Corona, California. He threw for 350 yards, two touchdowns and ran for 2 scores.

Thomas said that Nebraska is looking for him to play either, defensive end, or a tight end.

"He just wants to get on the field,"Thomas said. "If he can get near the field he will be happy. Once he stands on your campus, it's going to be a big deal. I will be with him when he goes to Nebraska. I am looking forward to the education part. The less partying the better. My concern is his focus. I want to make sure he isn't stacked against a bunch of players in a recruiting class. How the scholarship really works, and what it means.Whats being paid for and whats not. We haven't got that figured out yet. He just wants to look at certain things, and so do I."

As for the chances of the Huskers landing all four stand outs from Roosevelt, "Austin, Josh and Harold are always together, so yes, Nebraska has a chance," Thomas said.
