Dyches decides.

Riding the fence between two standout traditions, one of the top kickers in the country, David Dyches was sitting pretty. It was a decision that was tough, but he made it and now, he has a place to call home.

"It's Nebraska." David said of his final decision on where he wanted to go. "I really liked the fact that I have a chance to come in right away and compete for the starting job."

With the loss of Josh Brown, the season-long loss due to injury of Sandro DeAngelis and the only other solid contender, a last minute walk-on back up in Dale Endorf, the depth chart certainly does offer David a real chance to contend for the spot at the top.

David chose Nebraska over Ohio State, but that was just a smattering of the offers he had, the likes of Michigan and Arkansas also offering this Texas kicker.

David's scholarship will be a deferred scholarship, but will count against this year's class. He should be under a full scholarship though come January.
