As Tobi sat in the airport waiting for his connecting flight back home, he gave us the latest on the big news.
"I'm a Husker now, I committed to coach Pelini about three or four hours ago. I just felt the time was right. The visit went tremendous, so I went ahead and committed. I already knew I wanted to go there, this visit just kind of sealed the deal in my mind.
"Coach Bo was real excited, he said he can't wait to work with me once I get on campus."
"Everything really, the coaches, the school and of course the fans. It was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. The atmosphere at the game was so crazy, the crowd knows when to get loud, like on 3rd downs and stuff. That was the loudest game I have ever been to, and the Tunnel Walk is unbelievable, the way all the fans get pumped for the game.
"Then when you see a dominant performance like that it makes you want to be a pert of that, where defense is a high priority.
And then coach Pelini has the defense playing at a high level and I want to play for someone who can get the most out of me."
Are you solid, will there be any other visits?
"No, my recruitment is done, it's over, no more visits for me. I'm a Cornhusker now, that's all there is to it. Counting the spring game and that junior day, this was my third visit to Nerbaska. I know where I need to be."
