"I decommitted from Tennessee," added Delvin Jones by text just minutes ago. "I am opening my recruitment back up."
The Miami Palmetto Senior standout was scheduled to visit Tennessee this weekend
with his good friend and Vol commit, Ralph Williams, but those plans could be
changed as well.
"I do not know if we are going to visit Tennessee this weekend or not. We
are going to talk about it and make a decision in the next few days."
Delvin was actually offered by Southern Cal while Pete Carroll was there, but he
did not want to speculate if he was going to follow Kiffin to LA.
"I have no idea what I am going to do right now. I need another day or two
to think about that, but they want me to come (with them to Southern Cal)."
Jones was scheduled to visit Ole Miss and Arkansas on the 15th and 30th. Is that
still in the plans?
"Those were the plans, but that could still change. I have not talked to
Arkansas in a while about that visit, and I might visit Southern Cal as well.
I just got to see what happens in the next couple of days."
Delvin has been one of the more dominant forces in the Sunshine State the past
two years as he collected 36 sacks and 137 tackles during this time frame.
