"Yeah I did," Davie said. "I thought that it was great. I was surprised so many people showed up considering it was just for one team. It was amazing."
The attendance was one thing, but it's become clear to Davie that Nebraska's fans really support their team even in some kind of glorified scrimmage game.
"It was just the support that the team gets; that was the main thing. My parents already like the university and everything that they have to offer.
"I didn't really have any questions. I have been on the tour, been to some of their games and also been to their junior day and that about covered all the questions."
The plan for Davie is still to get back to Lincoln in June for summer camp. He is planning on attending the same session that he did last year.
"I am still heading up for summer camp for sure. I think that I will be at the first session for camp just like I did last year."
Davie was coming back from an unofficial visit this weekend to the only school that has offered him to this point. He said that it was a good visit.
"I went to North Dakota State this weekend. I am actually heading back right now. It was pretty good. I didn't know a lot about them and I got a lot of questions answered today."
Davie has had the NDSU offer for a little while, but it looks like Davie could pick up a couple of offers if he just goes to camp and does well.
"North Dakota State offered me a couple of months ago. They are my only offer so far. I think that Kansas is close to offering once I go to their camp.
"The same goes for Nebraska though. I think once I go to camp and if I perform there like I did last year that I can get an offer for sure."
Other than Nebraska and Kansas there are at least a few schools that Davie knows he will get out and see. He only knew about a couple of schools off of the top of his head though.
