Commitment #7 in action

While the next commitment could have been anyone's guess as to who and the when there aren't many that would have said it was Aaryn Bouzos. Nebraska looks to have gotten a commitment from a hard-hitting safety whose stock might be on the uptick a bit after a solid camp performance in California. Check out Bouzos' film here with

Nebraska picked up commitment #7, the second on the defensive side of the ball, from 5-foot-11 and 185-pound safety, Aaryn Bouzos. Bouzos, from La Mirada (Calif.) tallied 82 tackles as a junior and had an interception.

While the film is evidence enough about Bouzos' ability, Brandon Huffman with weighed in earlier in the day about where Husker fans can expect Bouzos to be rated on

"I would say that he's in that top 50 to 60 players in the state of California. He's a top 10 safety out West. I would say that he's a mid-tier three star player."

What might be holding Bouzos back a little is his size, or lack thereof. Bouzos isn't the tallest and isn't the thickest and that is getting in the way of getting a higher rating. However, Bouzos can still add weight to his 5-foot-11 frame to be a stout safety prospect.

More than that, the Huskers might have gotten Bouzos before things really got hectic for him. Bouzos was holding offers from just Wyoming and New Mexico State, but was getting interest from schools such as Michigan, Arizona and UCLA. This all on the heels of Bouzos ripping off a solid 4.5-electronically timed 40-yard dash at a combine.

While size may be the question mark with Bouzos his aggressiveness is not. Please take the time to check out the film of Aaryn Bouzos below:
