Kansas throws it down

Beatrice (Nebr.) safety/wide receiver Daniel Davie wasn't going to stay a secret very long. There is a very good, division one talent in Beatrice and while Davie was already holding a couple of offers today was a big day. Many have wondered if Nebraska would offer Davie and if they do they will be competing with a Big 12 North school for his services now.

It wasn't like Daniel Davie from Beatrice (Nebr.) was waiting for an offer to come in. Until today, Davie was holding offers from Ohio and from North Dakota State.

Playing college football was going to be in Davie's future. Today though, Davies said that Kansas has come through with an offer.

Davie is an athlete first and could project to play either safety or wide receiver at the next level. Last weekend, Davie walked away with the gold medal in the Nebraska State Track Meet in the 100m and 200m. Davie's best 100m time this past year was 10.4 and his best 200m time was 21.5.

After the recent offer from Nebraska to Hastings (Nebr.) St. Cecilia offensive lineman, Zach Sterup, many have speculated that Davie could be the next to receive a Husker offer. Davie is slated to attend Nebraska's summer camps that begin in June.
